Back to the Basics: What You as the Talent Should Bring to a Photoshoot
Congrats! You finally landed that gig with your favorite brand. Your agent tells you that they’d just like for you to bring a few things to the shoot. Great. What’s that mean? Well, after over 20 years of telling people “just bring some normal, everyday clothing” - we’ve seen some pretty crazy choices - from nothing but torn and distressed music clothing to a step above underwear in the lobby of a corporate office. So, here to keep you from turning into a story we’ve got one of our favorite things. A list of what to bring.
Top 20 Clothing Items to Bring to a Photoshoot
Dresses / One-Pieces
Solid-color dress with simple lines, no distracting prints - optional if this feel like you, if not skip it.

Shoes
Clean sneakers, unless it fits the shoot, PLEASE have clean shoes.
Dress shoes and if appropriate a flat and heel option is always nice.

Classic belt in black or brown
Watch or subtle jewelry, again if appropriate.
Undershirts, socks, and backup layers - please match white and white, black with black, etc. you know who you are.
Special Notes:
Avoid logos, busy patterns, and neon colors - the focus needs to be on you or the product, not why your shirt is vibrating in camera.
